Christina Hall SLAMS estranged husband Josh Hall’s message of ‘hope’ and hints she’s already offered him MILLIONS in their bitterly ugly divorce process
Christina Hall has hit out at her estranged husband Josh Hall on social media, suggesting that she may have already offered him millions in their divorce battle. After Josh, 43, posted a message about ‘hope’ on his Instagram Stories, Christina, 41, took a screenshot of the picture and added her response. ‘I “HOPE” she pays me millions more than what she’s already offered me,’ she wrote across his post, in an aggressive swipe at her ex.
The reality star announced the split in early July after two years of marriage. The pair are already battling over money.
The Christina On The Coast host has accused the realtor of wrongly diverting $35,000 of her money into his bank account.
The money came from Christina’s various rental properties around Tennessee, which Josh, 43, was allegedly able to obtain via a text sent to the property manager on July 8 — a significant date as Josh claims it to be their date of separation while Christina says it was the 7th.
In a court filing in Orange County, California, the Christina in the Country star claimed, ‘I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.’
As proof, she submitted a screen shot showing the alleged request, adding that she ‘had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024,’ explaining, ‘I would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.’
The interior decorator has also denied that Josh was ‘blindsided’ by the divorce and has accused him of manipulating news about the split.
A source close to the situation has revealed to DailyMail.com that Christina is not going to take the ugliness around the breakup lightly.
‘Christina is ready to fight Josh, and the battle between them has only just begun,’ the insider shared.
The documents also show that Josh will be ‘asking for alimony from Christina and wants the court to eliminate her ability to collect from him ‘ and to ‘divvy up what was theirs respectively before they got hitched’.
It appears Josh will not be starring in the upcoming HGTV series The Flip Off, in which he and Christina were to compete with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae.
A source told US Weekly: ‘They are in production of The Flip Off without Josh. They’re moving forward with the show without him.’
Christina and Tarek developed a huge fan base when they hosted Flip or Flop from 2013-2022. The couple divorced in 2018, but have managed to continue working together while creating a healthy co-parenting relationship for their children Taylor, 13, and Brayden, eight.
She shares son Hudson, four, with former spouse Ant Anstead, 45.
Tarek and Heather have welcomed their own son, Tristan, 17 months to the family.
Tarek recently told E! News, ‘S*** happens. We got one shot at life and we gotta do what’s best for us, so whatever she needs, we’re here to help.’
Heather, who is best known for appearing on the Netflix hit Selling Sunset, insisted that her co-star will ‘get through’ the tough times and joked that they might even ‘gang up’ on Tarek.
