Days after Brittany Mahomes gave birth to their third child, a baby girl named Golden Raye, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shared that he’s not looking to add a new addition to his family anytime soon.
As Patrick told reporters during a Jan. 14 press conference, “I’m good with three for right now.”
But the 28-year-old—who already shares daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze,” 2, with Brittany—isn’t totally ruling out the possibility.
“We’ll see down the line, maybe,” Patrick continued. “But my goal was always three. So, we’ve had three. And we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
Of course, Patrick is still soaking in life with his newest little one, who was welcomed to the world on Jan. 12.
“It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how my other kids react to her,” the NFL star explained. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that—it’s been a lot of fun.”
As for how he plans to juggle being a father of three and competing in the NFL playoffs, which kick off for the Chiefs on Jan. 18, when the team faces off against the Houston Texans? Patrick emphasized that Brittany is a huge support when it comes to handling both simultaneously.
“Brittany’s doing everything,” he insisted, “so I’m just trying to be supportive.”
