Taylor Swift dominated the stage once again during her concerts in Milan, Italy, charming fans during the show with her unique greeting to the crowd.
Continuing her trend of learning essential phrases in the various languages of the many countries her tour stops in, Swift said, “Ciao!” to all of her Italian Swifties in a new video captured by a concertgoer, with the singer smiling brightly to the crowd.
“Queen For a Reason ♥️,” wrote one fan, while more complimented the star with notes like, “Taylor Swift talking in Italian is just nice,” and “SHE IS THE BEST.”
While it’s only a little Italian, Swift has utilized different languages on her tour already, both in greeting and while asking for help for Swifties in the crowd. One instance of this was during a show in Lyon, France when she used French to bring security’s attention to fans needing help while performing her song “Betty.”
She did the same in Spanish while performing in Madrid, Spain, thoughtfully considering the native language of both her fans and the staff, something that would be very helpful during a stressful situation.
Along with her moment speaking Italian, Swift had quite the eventful visit to Milan. During the short comedy section between “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” Swift almost broke character and laughed while interacting with dancer Kam Saunders. She also swallowed a bug and seemed to break the piano she played during her surprise song section, making Milan one for the “Errors Tour” books.
