Lady Gaga Went Makeup-Free With Her Signature Bleached Brow

It seems that Lady Gaga is taking her bleached brow look into the New Year.

This week, the singer shared a video message on Instagram, in which she went practically makeup-free for the video, while she still had the bleached brows she has been proudly sporting since around March last year.

In the selfie video, Gaga celebrated her song with Bruno Mars, “Die with a Smile,” reaching the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

“I’m so incredibly grateful that my song ‘Die with a Smile’ with Bruno Mars, my friend, is number one on the Hot 100,” she said. “I can’t believe that I’ve had two number ones in three different decades that I’ve been releasing my music in this professional way.”

Gaga appeared to be almost entirely makeup-free in the video—aside, perhaps, from a flick of mascara. She wore her long bleached blonde hair down in a center part and sported a tight black T-shirt. To celebrate her song’s success, she also shared a makeup-free selfie in a gray shirt.

Although her bleached brows are nothing new, Gaga rarely sports a no-makeup look during her public appearances. In fact, she usually loves to experiment with bold, whimsical beauty looks on the red carpet.

During her press tour for Joker Folie à Deux, for instance, she rocked a look with bright blue eyeshadow and a glistening tear—twice. She also wore a dramatic dark red lip paired with a bold structural headpiece.
