The Cruel Summer hitmaker has attended two of Travis’ games, flying to Kansas to watch the Chiefs play the Bears last month, and brought along her celebrity pals – including Sophie Turner, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively – to their game against the New York Jets last week.

It was widely speculated she would be attending the Chiefs’ game against the Vikings on Sunday night, but she surprised fans TV producers had even labelled Taylor’s predicted place in the stands with an orange sticker above her seat with ‘Tay’ written on it, which would help camera operators find her amongst the thousands of fans at the US Bank Stadium. However, TV bosses were disappointed to discover Taylor had opted to skip the game, and many suggested she decided not to fly to Minnesota at the last minute. During the game Travis suffered an ankle injury, but recovered to help the Chiefs secure their fourth win in a row, but some fans believe the sportsman was also surprised to find out Taylor hadn’t turned upHe was seen throwing his helmet in anger after hurting his ankle on the football field, and at the end of the game looked downcast, despite his team winning.

Thousands of fans were hoping to see the rumoured new romance up close during Sunday’s game, but NFL Network reporter Scott Hanson confirmed that the pop icon was not in attendance, leaving fans wondering if she had cancelled at the last minute
