W czwartej rundzie zmierzyła się z Darią Kasatkiną (14. WTA) i szybko udowodniła, że jest faworytką tego meczu. W pierwszym secie trzykrotnie przełamała rywalkę, co dało jej zwycięstwo 6:1. W drugiej partii było już więcej walki, jednak po 76 minutach z końcowego triumfu 6:1, 6:3 cieszyła się Sabalenka.
